It’s the same every year for me…the slump between the excitement of Christmas and the slow wind down of the year.  This has been THAT day.  The one when I feel like I’m walking through molasses.  What gets me through this time each year is remembering what my mother has always said…”This too shall pass”.

Lovely! Love the words, and the image! Oh yeah, love the falling snow – can’t figure out how to get that. Wishing you a wonderful New Year!!

  2. Love this icy capture and your quote by Sarah Addison Allen.

  3. The red berry sprig is lovely and the falling snow page background works perfectly for that image and for the season.

  4. A beautiful image – hope creating gets you out of your slump!

Our snow globe world turned into a raining globe…I like yours better. Lovely photo and words. It does seem that there is that slump that follows all that we do heading toward the holidays. Love the molasses analogy. Happy New Year.
